“Tidy” Tammy Schotkzo has always had a love for all things organized and helping people build calm, clean, and comforting places to dwell, work, and play. As a Certified Professional Organizer, Tammy helps clients, both in person and through virtual sessions, to reclaim their spaces!
Born and raised in Northern MN, Tammy is a mom to two amazing young adults. Having moved 7 times, earned a B.S. in Business with a Psychology minor while working almost full-time, fighting (and winning!) the breast cancer battle (see her story below), operating several small businesses, and parenting, she could not have stayed sane without being organized. These combined education and life experiences have given her a zeal to share her organizing talents with others so they may in turn get more out of life with less frustration!
Born with an organized mind and a linear way of thinking, until finding her niche in the organizing business she always felt the need to apologize for being overly-organized. Now she has realized she is the “yin” to clutter’s “yang”.
Known by many as Tidy Tammy, she operates with a “less is more” theory, focusing on keeping the things you truly have time for and love, while letting go of those that weigh you down. Sometimes she says this tongue in cheek, as those that know her well know how many projects and ideas she has percolating!
In her “spare” time she recently completed her Masters in Human Behavior (September of 2020) and adopted an adorable (she might be a wee bit biased) rescue puppy named “Moose”. Tammy has been a member of the National Association of Productivity and Organizing Professionals (NAPO) since 2011, Bemidji Area Business Women where she serves on the leadership committee, and Women United.
